What is Dyslexia:

In this talk, we will discover what Dyslexia is, the causes and what we can do to make life easier for someone with Dyslexia. We will also cover how to get an assessment for a child or adult with Dyslexia, common indicators of Dyslexia, Dyslexia in school, study tips and technology that may help dyslexic children in their day to day and school life.

Dyslexia at Second Level:

Amy will then go on to cover the different aspects of the transition to secondary school that a young person with dyslexia may face. The talk will include study tips and information on Reasonable Accommodations (RACE) and Disability Access Route to College (DARE).

Question Time:

There will be time at the end for parents to ask Amy any questions they may have about their son or daughter or Dyslexia in general.
